Alan Chiang

Dr. Alan Chiang graduated in Medicine from University of Manchester, United Kingdom in 1989. He was trained as a paediatrician and completed his PhD study in lymphoma biology in 1998 at The University of Hong Kong. He is currently a clinical associate professor at Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of The University of Hong Kong. He coordinates the treatment protocols for childhood non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL) in Hong Kong and participates in international inter-group clinical studies for childhood NHL. He has a long term research interest in the biology of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and its associated diseases. His laboratory focuses on biological and translational research in EBV-related lymphoproliferative disorders and epithelial cancers.
