Cheng Man Chuen

  • Fellowship in 2011 at Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Cheng Man Chuen obtained his B.Sc. and M.Phil. in Mathematics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and his Ph.D. from Stanford University. He is currently a Lecturer for Department of Mathematics at Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Currently

Cheng Man Chuen works in algebraic topology. More specifically, his current research focuses on the geometry and duality phenomena of differentiable stacks, which are geometric objects arising from classifying problems in mathematics. An understanding of these differentiable stacks would provide interesting information to the underlying classifying problems.
