Cheung Yuk Kee

Yukkee Cheung, PhD is the co-founder of Cardiio, an MIT spinoff providing software solutions for bio-sensing. She is trained as a biomedical engineer with a strong passion to advance healthcare and medicine through building novel systems and devices for diagnostics and health tracking. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, where she developed new approaches to tissue fabrication and created various portable devices for point-of-care diagnostic applications. She later joined Harvard Medical School as a postdoctoral fellow, building experimental platforms for tracking cell behaviors in vivo. Dr. Cheung also earned an MS degree in Biomedical Engineering and a BS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
