Daniel Kam Wah MOK

Dr Daniel K.W. Mok has been trained as a Chemist in the University of Hong Kong. He obtained his Ph.D. in 1995. He went to University of Cambridge to work as a Post-doctoral fellow and then joined the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a research staff and became a faculty member a few years later.

Daniel has a strong background in computational chemistry and is still pursuing research on chemical reactions with importance in the atmosphere using quantum chemistry calculations. He developed his interests in Traditional Chinese Medicine focusing on develiping analytical methods for quality control and using metabolomics to investiage the uderlying mechanisms of the therapeutic effects.
