Henry Lam

Dr. Henry Lam is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in actuarial science from the University of Hong Kong, and M.A. and Ph.D. in statistics from Harvard University.

Dr. Lam's research interests include Monte Carlo simulation, risk analysis, and stochastic and robust optimization. His work has been recognized by an NSF CAREER Award, INFORMS JFIG Competition Second Prize, INFORMS Nicholson Competition Honorable Mention Prize, and an Adobe Faculty Research Award. He is currently an Associate Editor for Operations Research and INFORMS Journal on Computing.
