Leung Hoi Tik Alvin

  • Fellowship in 2012 at University of Basel

Alvin received his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Hong Kong. He then went on to do a Ph.D. under the supervision of Professor Michele Vendruscolo at Cambridge, using both computer simulations and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy to study protein dynamics. Fascinated by the versatility and power of NMR spectroscopy, he furthered his research in the group of Professor Stephan Grzesiek at the University of Basel. After a brief stint in Basel, Alvin took up his position as a lecturer in physics at CUHK.
