Li Cheuk Wing

Dr. Cheuk-Wing Li received his B.Sc. in applied chemistry, M.Phil. and Ph.D. in analytical biochemistry from the City University of Hong Kong.  He was awarded the Croucher Foundation Fellowship in 2007 and continued his postdoctoral research training in Stanford University, under the supervision of Professor Richard N. Zare.  After returned, he was appointed as associate professor in the South China University of Technology before he joined the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences at University of Macau in 2011.  Dr. Li has been working in the field of biochip technology for over 12 years.  His research interests are focused on the development of low-cost biochip fabrication methods and the application of biochip technology in cell-based assays and high-throughput drug screening.
