  • Scholarship in 1991 at University of Oxford

Dr Lim is the Associate Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Hong Kong. He is interested in plant energy and organelle biology.

Photosynthesis directly or indirectly supplies energy to all life forms on this planet. Energy harvest in plants starts from the photosystems, and subsequently involves Calvin cycle, glycolysis, tricarboxylic acid cycle (TCA) and the mitochondrial respiratory chain. His group studies the processes in hope to improve energy efficiency, growth and yield of plants.
