Tommy Ho-Yee Ng 伍浩沂

Tommy Ho-Yee Ng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College. He earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley in 2012, a M.Phil. in Psychiatry from the University of Hong Kong in 2014, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Neuroscience at Temple University in 2020. He completed his internship and fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medicine. His research program centers on understanding the pathophysiology of mood disorders, with the ultimate goal of improving diagnostic accuracy and providing targets for prevention and treatment. To date, it has produced over 20 publications and has been supported by grants from the Croucher Foundation, the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund, the American Psychological Foundation, the Council of Graduate Departments of Psychology, the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students, and the National Institute of Mental Health. Tommy is the recipient of a number of awards, such as the Early Graduate Student Researcher Award from the American Psychological Association, the President’s Award from the Society Research in Psychopathology, and the Outstanding Student Researcher Award from the Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology.
