Ng Sheung Hei 伍尚熹

Brian completed his undergraduate studies in Cambridge studying the toxicity of organic peroxides. He is currently studying DPhil with Prof. Hagan Bayley in Oxford, using single-stranded DNA to control selective gene activation in synthetic tissues. He is experienced in single-molecule chemistry, synthetic cells, and nucleic acid nanotechnology.

Outside of research, he has been teaching biocehmistry principles, problem-solving and essay writing to small groups (2-10 people) of undergraduates in Univeristy of Oxford and University of Cambridge. He is accredited as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) from an evaluation of his teaching portfolio. 

He is near the end of his PhD and is actively seeking research collaborations and career opportunities to apply his skills to drive meaningful contributions in science.
