Chi-Chiu Ko 高志釗

  • Scholarship in 2000 at University of Hong Kong

Prof. Vincent Ko received his B. Sc. (1999) and Ph. D. (2003) from the University of Hong Kong. His Ph. D. works mainly focused on the designs, syntheses, photophysics, and photochemical studies of metal-containing photochromic compounds and luminescent organometallic compounds. After his doctoral study, he continued to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2006, he joined the City University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor and has since been promoted to Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2023.

Currently

His current research interests include the design and synthesis of stimuli-responsive and photofunctional materials, such as luminescent materials, sensors, photoswitching and photochromic materials, mechanoresponsive materials, photocatalysts, and smart materials.
