Wong Chun Yuen Alex

  • Fellowship in 2005 at Harvard University

Dr. Chun-Yuen Wong (Alex) received his B.Sc. in 2000 and Ph.D. in 2005 from The University of Hong Kong. He was a Croucher Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from 2005 to 2006. He joined Department of Biology and Chemistry of City University of Hong Kong in November 2006 as a Lecturer and later promoted to Assistant Professor in 2009.

Currently

His current research interests include

(1) probing the metal–carbon bonding interactions in organometallic complexes through spectroscopic and theoretical means in order to provide insight on the design of functional organometallic complexes;

(2) designing metal/semiconductor hybrid nanostructures for photonic application.
