  • Fellowship in 2019 at Brown University

I am a postdoc at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Algebra and Algebraic Geometry group (particularly the ACTING and REACTIONS projects), working with Prof. Kris Shaw.

Previously, I was a postdoc at Brown University, working with Prof. Caroline Klivans; my visit was supported by Croucher Fellowship for Postdoctoral Research. Before that, I was a postdoc at the University of Bern, working with Prof. Jan Draisma.

I received my Ph.D. from the Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization (ACO) program at Georgia Tech (my home department was Mathematics), advised by Prof. Matthew Baker. I received my B.Sc. in Mathematics (First Class Honor) and B.Eng. in Information Engineering (First Class Honor) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012.

My research interests are in combinatorics, tropical geometry, and their connections to other subjects. See my research page for more information.
