Professor Victor On-Kwok Li is Chair Professor of Information Engineering and Associate Dean of Engineering at the University of Hong Kong. Professor Li is distinguished for fundamental contributions in the design and analysis of communication networks. Amongst his achievements are innovative techniques for multiple access, routing, scheduling, channel assignment, and performance analysis of wireless networks. He also pioneered wavelength-convertible optical networks, and co-invented the Chemical Reaction Optimization technique. (2002/2003)
