- Scholarship in 2007 at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology
William received his M.Phil. degree in Molecular Biotechnology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008. He is currently working at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Germany for his Ph.D. degree with support of the Croucher Foundation Scholarship.
William is interested in the researches of plants. His current work focuses on making use of the model plant, Arabidopsis thaliana, to reveal the importance of the amino acid sequence conservancy in related to flowering time mechanism. By this work, he targets at gaining another level of insight to the timing machinery critical to the plant reproductive success.
