Cheung Chi Wai

  • Fellowship in 2010 at Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Chi Wai Cheung obtained his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His Ph.D. studies focus on the discovery and understanding of various organometallic reactions with group 9 metalloporphyrins. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Chemistry at Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the supervision of Professor Stephen L. Buchwald.

Currently

In MIT, Chi Wai works in the field of organic chemistry. He is now studying transition-metal catalyzed reactions to synthesize various compounds that could exhibit biological activities, including heterocycles and functionalized amines.
