Fenix obtained his DPhil in Medical Oncology at the University of Oxford in 2014. He received the Oxford University Croucher scholarship and Clarendon scholarship, and carried out research in the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Group with the guidance of Dr. Anthony Kong. His thesis covers topics in the responses and resistance to lapatinib (Tykerb/Tyverb) in HER2-positive breast cancer.
Previously, Fenix finished a BSc in Molecular Biotechnology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2009.
CurrentlyFenix is currently working as a Senior Analyst at the Healthcare division of GlobalData, covering oncology and hematology markets. He is interested in the worldwide regulatory landscape, pricing and reimbursement system of pharmaceuticals.
Fenix carries out pharmaceutical market forecasts, competitive analyses, unmet need analyses through secondary research, interviews with key medical leaders, and physician surveys.
