Prof. Stevenson Fung is the first visually impaired person granted a doctoral degree in physics by the University of Oxford. He is now professor of physics in the University of Hong Kong. He was also awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star Medal and the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award for his contributions to science and community services. He was served as a member of the Equal Opportunities Commission from 1996-2003.
