Dr Henry Lau
Henry is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and Warden of University Hall, at the University of Hong Kong. He graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Engineering Science and DPhil in Robotics. He was a Croucher Fellow working in the Oxford Robotics Research Group and a College Lecturer at Brasenose College, Oxford. He joined the UK Atomic Energy Authority and AEA Technology plc. in 1992 as a Senior System Engineer specializing in nuclear decommissioning and waste management, robotics and automation. He returned to Hong Kong in 1997 to become a teacher once again at the University of Hong Kong. Henry's research interest includes artificial intelligence, logistics engineering and intelligent automation.
