Kevin received his BSc in Chemistry from The University of Hong Kong in 2020. His undergraduate research experiences ranged from organic synthesis of peptides, chemical libraries and development of synthetic methodologies to computational chemistry. His current research interest is more focused on theoretical investigations of chemical systems via density functional and ab-initio methods. He is particularly interested in how non-statistical dynamic effects affect chemical reactivity and selectivity, especially cases where routine calculations cannot rationalize and explain experimental results fully.
