Leung Cham Fai Ken

Dr Leung is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, The Hong Kong Baptist University. He concurrently holds an Honorary Associate Professor position at the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong. His research interests are in the field of supramolecular chemistry, nanoscience, and nanomedicine. He gained his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He conducted a three-year postdoctoral research work in the laboratory of Professor Sir J. Fraser Stoddart (Nobel Laureate in Chemistry 2016) for the years 2003-2006 at The California NanoSystems Institute and Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, The University of California at Los Angeles, USA. He has published 80 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals with over 3,800 times of citation and an h-index of 34. He is the recipient of the Asian Core Program Lectureship Award from Japan (2010), Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Award (Technology Advancement, First Class) from the Ministry of Education of China (2011), Asian Core Program Lectureship Award from South Korea (2012), Materials Research Contribution Award from the Asia Pacific Society for Materials Research (2013), Asian Rising Stars Award at The Asian Chemical Congress (2013), and HKBU Faculty Performance Award for Outstanding Performance in Teaching (2016), Asian Core Program Lectureship Awards from Mainland China and Singapore (2017).
