Ping Chung Ng

At Telstra, Chung contributes to the Big Data/AI as well as the international growth strategy. His current focus is to define the AI/ML strategy to drive new revenue & profit growth from the core with data and insights.

Chung was an Associate Partner of Cluster Technology Limited which is a niche service provider in high-performance computing, machine learning, big data, and public cloud for the Greater China market. Since 2010, he helped growing new revenue initiatives from scratch and closed a few tech/internet early-stage investments. Chung was also a member of Incu-App Panel of Hong Kong Science Park. 

In 2008, Chung joined McKinsey & Company in the Hong Kong office where he worked in strategic projects for multinational corporations. He received his DPhil in Information Engineering from the University of Oxford in 2008. He held the Croucher Foundation Scholarship to work toward his research degree in wireless ad-hoc networks. Chung also received BEng and MPhil in Information Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. 

Outside work, Chung likes playing football, swimming and skiing. He spent two weeks on ski slopes for his honeymoon and hurt himself slightly in a giant slalom training course.
