- Scholarship in 2000 at the The University of Hong Kong
Dr. Vincent Ko received his B. Sc. (1999) and Ph. D. (2003) from the University of Hong Kong. His Ph. D. works mainly focused on the designs, syntheses, photophysics, and photochemical studies of metal-containing photochromic compounds and luminescent organometallic compounds. After his doctoral study, he continued to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He joined City University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor in September 2006 and promoted to an Associate Professor in July 2012.
His current research interests include design and synthesis of luminescent, photoswitching and photochromic materials, and functionalization of these molecular materials to serve as photo-regulated active transporters, scavengers, chemosensors, smart surfaces and devices.
