Wing Hin Ng

  • Studentship in 2016 at Chinese University of Hong Kong

Wing Hin NG obtained his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry with first-class honour from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2016. Interested in chemistry research, he participated in department summer research programme during his undergraduate years and his final year thesis involved the study of new and mild method in halogenation on olefinic compounds, under the supervision of Prof Tony K. M. Shing. With the support of Croucher Foundation Research Studentship, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry in CUHK.

In his PhD, he will develop and study new organocatalytic systems to perform efficient C-H oxidation and other organic transformations under mild and metal-free condition.
