Dr Doris Leung is an Assistant Professor at the Nethersole School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She received her PhD in Biostatistics from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has collaborated in a variety of medical research projects, both randomized trials and observational studies (e.g. cancer screening, alternative medicine, mental health, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes), and educational projects. Dr Leung has also served on the editorial boards of many journals including Patient Preference & Adherence.
Dr Leung's main research interests are in clinical trials, psychometrics and the application of structural equation modeling in health psychology. Overall she has numerous publications which include 5 book chapters, 1 edited book and 78 original papers in peer reviewed journals such as Addition, Age & Ageing, American Journal of Preventive Medicine, Cancer Nursing, International Journal of Nursing Studies and Structural Equation Modeling. Her current research programs include cancer prevention and palliative care.
